This primary dressing permits the flow of exudate without sticking to the wound bed. Conforms to all body contours. Nonadherent, use beneath a secondary dressing.Oil Emulsion Bandage Instructions for use Carefully clean the wound and its surrounding area with sterile water or saline solution and dry the surrounding skin gently. Select the right size of dressing for the wound area. Carefully open the sterile pouch to remove the dressing inside. A secondary dressing is necessary when using gauze dressing. If needed, cut the tape and dressing using sterile scissors. The dressing should be changed daily in heavily exudative wounds, reduced to every 3 days as the healing process proceeds.
